The summit, organised by Dosdoce, will convene on 9 and 10 November in Strasbourg to explore the evolving landscape of audiobooks and podcasts. Sessions will cover platformisation, visibility, remuneration, and new distribution models, with speakers including Eléna Burgos of DeMarque, Jérémy Amsellem of Spotify, and Anne‑Sophie Steinlein of Youscribe.

On the first day, a panel titled “Rematerializing the audiobook: for what uses and new forms of diffusion?” will feature Anne‑Lise Schmitt of the International Association of Francophone Bookstores (AILF), Thierry Millogo of Mercury Books in Burkina Faso, and Charles‑André Touré of Prose.

The second day will focus on library integration, with Franck Queyraud of COOP NUM Bpi presenting on the role of audiobooks in libraries, and Marie‑Charlotte Baoudour of the Institut français discussing translation and export support.

Keynotes will also address African and Maghreb contexts, including Ulrich Talla Wamba of the African Observatory of Publishing Professionals and a case study on the Maghreb’s audiobook and podcast scene led by Emilie Bellon and Mehdi El Kindi.

Additional sessions will examine AI’s impact on production, with Liliane de Carvalho of More Avocats and Jean‑Christophe Vareille of Rosalie de bouche à oreilles speaking on the topic.
