Lefebvre Dalloz is investing in the creation of GenIA‑L, an in‑house artificial‑intelligence system, as a response to the rapid changes brought by AI and the restructuring of the legal publishing market.
Julien Tanguy, the group’s general director, has stated that the company’s strategy is one of independence and long‑term sustainability. He emphasises the importance of preserving editorial expertise and the role of books in disseminating legal knowledge.
According to Tanguy, Lefebvre Dalloz is not willing to grant external actors access to its content, preferring to keep the intellectual property within its own technological ecosystem.
