Hakim Bah and Catherine Verlaguet win ARTCENA 2026 Grand Drama Literature Prizes

Hakim Bah and Catherine Verlaguet were honoured with the Grand prix de littérature dramatique and its youth counterpart at ARTCENA 2026 on 2 November in Paris.

The awards were presented at the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique – PSL, the prestigious drama school in Paris.

Bah received the Grand prix de littérature dramatique for his play Strokes, published by Quartett éditions.

Verlaguet was awarded the Grand prix de littérature dramatique jeunesse for Sens la foudre sous ma peau, issued by Lansman éditeur.

The ceremony marked the culmination of ARTCENA’s annual competition, which recognises outstanding contemporary French drama for adult and youth audiences.
