NYU API’s 2027 agenda focuses on innovation, audience, and analytics, and includes a special morning workshop on optimizing editorial workflows and business practices through strategic use of artificial intelligence. The program will feature workshops, strategy sessions, and industry case studies designed to broaden participants’ knowledge, professional toolkits, and business acumen.

Key speakers include Greg Greeley, CEO of Simon & Schuster, who will discuss challenges and opportunities for publishers; Danny Meyer, business leader and author, who will explore building a culture of excellence with editor Andy Ward of Random House; and Sanyu Dillon, President of Random House Publishing Group, who will reflect on the sector’s evolution and future predictions.

Additional sessions cover YouTube video strategy with Dean Kowalski of YouTube Learning Partnerships, creative mindset cultivation with Stephanie Leyser of Amazon Web Services, and an AI panel moderated by Keith Reigert of Stable Book Group featuring CEOs and presidents from Abrams Books, Bloomsbury US, Scholastic Children’s Books, and Serendipity Literary.

The program fee includes daily breakfast and lunch, as well as opening and Wednesday evening receptions. Further details are available on the NYU API website.
