The Buchhandlung im Teutschhaus in Gerolzhofen received the “Partner der Schulen für Leseförderung” seal from Kultusministerin Anna Stolz and Dr. Klaus Beckschulte, Geschäftsführer des Börsenvereins des Deutschen Buchhandels Bayern, on Monday.
Led by Julia Gellhaus, the shop represents 205 Bavarian bookshops that have shown strong commitment to improving children’s and adolescents’ reading competence this year.
Stolz highlighted reading as a community task, praising the shop’s initiatives such as Erst‑Lese‑Tüten and the Kinderleseclub “Teutschhaus‑Leseeulen” for sparking enthusiasm for books.
She thanked all involved for their tireless effort and congratulated the shop on its fourth award with the seal.
