Publisher Dayan Kodua Receives Germany’s Federal Cross of Merit

Actress, author and Gratitude publisher Dayan Kodua was awarded the Bundesverdienstkreuz on 29 October in Hamburg’s city‑hall Turmsaal.

Dayan Kodua, known for her work as an actress, writer and founder of the Gratitude publishing house, received the Cross of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The ceremony took place in the Turmsaal of Hamburg City Hall on 29 October.

Hamburg’s Culture and Media Senator Dr Carsten Brosda presented the decoration, which is conferred by the German President.

The honour recognises Kodua’s contributions to German cultural life and publishing.
