The Décembre 2026 prize, a French literary award, recognized Godard’s personal narrative that explores family ties through the collective voice of “on”.
Nous aussi, released by Actes Sud, uses the pronoun “on” to convey a shared perspective on familial relationships, a stylistic choice highlighted by the jury.
The award, announced on 27 October 2026, adds to Godard’s growing reputation in contemporary French literature.
