Katerina Jacob, known for her acting career, adds a literary achievement to her résumé with the release of her latest memoir, Im Fettnapf.

The book, which Jacob self‑published through the print‑on‑demand service BoD, climbed to the top of the BoD bestseller list for fiction in its debut month.

Jacob previously released two titles with the mvg publishing house: Oh (weia) Kanada in 2015 and Alles nur Theater in 2016.

In Im Fettnapf, she recounts personal anecdotes ranging from everyday absurdities and encounters with distinctive animals to reflections on aging and the “normal madness” of daily life, often addressing topics others might keep silent about.

The memoir shares the bestseller spotlight with a slate of seasonal titles focused on autumnal themes and horror.
