Gallimard Wins Two Femina Prizes as Seuil Secures Essay Award

At the 2026 Prix Femina ceremony held in Paris’s Dior salons, Gallimard authors Yannick Haenel and Laura Kasischke were awarded the French and foreign novel prizes, while Seuil’s Jennifer Tamas took the essay prize.

The jury of the Prix Femina announced on Wednesday, 4 November, that Yannick Haenel’s novel won the French novel category and Laura Kasischke’s work secured the foreign novel award. Both titles were published by Gallimard.

In the essay category, Jennifer Tamas was honoured for her work released by Le Seuil.

The awards were presented in the Dior salons in Paris, a venue chosen for its elegant setting.
