The Schwelm shop occupies the space previously held by the independent bookstore Köndgen, allowing Thalia to inherit an established retail setting.
In Bensheim, Thalia built a fresh storefront from the ground up, marking its first presence in the town.
Both openings were announced on Thursday, adding to Thalia’s growing footprint across Germany.
The new locations aim to serve local readers with Thalia’s full range of books, media and related services.
