Les Éditions du Boréal announced the cessation of its collaboration with Thélson Orélien, citing recent findings that indicate artificial intelligence was used in the creation of his recent novel.
The novel in question, titled “C’était ça ou mourir”, had been published earlier this year and received attention for its narrative style.
The publisher said the decision was based on “new insights” that raised concerns about the authenticity of the writing process.
