The Jean Giono Prize jury convened on 28 October at the historic Drouant restaurant to choose the four titles that will compete for the 2026 award.

The selection meeting took place at Drouant, a renowned Parisian dining venue, where the jury reviewed submissions and agreed on the shortlist of four works.

The announced finalists will remain under consideration until the prize winner is revealed on 10 November.

The award carries a monetary prize of €10,000 for the author of the winning title.
