The Manga Story shop on Boulevard Voltaire in Paris has announced that it suffered losses amounting to several hundred thousand euros as a result of the looting that took place over the weekend of 17 October.
David Birbes, the store’s commercial director, described the extent of the damage and highlighted the challenges the shop faces in reopening. He also expressed concern for other merchants in the area as further public demonstrations approach.
